Yes, but you’ll need a valid IHI (Individual Healthcare Identifier) to receive an eScript. Otherwise, the prescription will need to be printed and collected in person.
Yes. Doctors cannot prescribe S8, S4 (Appendix D) or other restricted medications.
Telehealth consultations are privately billed. Most private health insurers require an itemised receipt to process claims, which may not be provided by Hola Health.
Yes, there’s no cancellation fee as long as your appointment hasn’t started. Cancel using the link in your confirmation email.
Yes. If appropriate, the doctor can prescribe quit smoking aids such as nicotine replacement therapy or medication. Prescriptions are sent via SMS as digital eScripts.
Vaping is not considered a first line treatment to quit smoking but may be considered if you’ve tried other quit methods without success. It must be prescribed by a doctor. United Chemists pharmacies can support patients who are prescribed therapeutic nicotine vapes.
Consultation fees are upfront and shred during the booking process.
After your appointment, you’ll receive a receipt of payment from Hola Health.
